Homegrown Minnesota Websites
Below are a few websites, I built while practicing my skills in Minnesota. At times, they may not be a lot to look at, however I believe in agile development. Meaning that I have an open development cycle and am constantly working to add new features and improve the site.
MnNext.com - (Alpha)
Minnesota Next Magazine is a continued work in progress. The site is targeted at Minnesotan's between the age of 20 and 29. Simply put, the site asks visitors, "What do you want to do NEXT?" I am currently in the process of finding experts who can contribute articles and information about things that 20 to 29 won't find on sites like Facebook and MySpace. For example, buying a home, buying a car and getting in shape. The site also contains social networking features powered by Kickapps.com.
BisonFans.com - (Beta)
Using Ning.com, I created an unofficial North Dakota State University Bison fan Web site and social network. What started out as an exploratory project to learn more about the white-labeled social network industry turned out to be a great site for Bison fans.
GoWoodyWire.com
On my personal blog, The Go Woody Wire 2.0 - I explore the topics that interest me most, including: sports, media, marketing, technology and politics.
